We love welcoming new patients to Williamstown Family Dental Group. On your first visit, we’ll first want to listen to you and your needs.

We’ll assess your past dental experiences to discover anything we need to learn in relation to your future care. When you’re happy that all aspects have been discussed, we’ll then proceed to carefully and gently examine your mouth.

Each dentist will carry out a careful examination of both your teeth and gums, including an oral cancer mouth screen, and record any observations. Any relevant observations will be discussed. At this point, if x-rays are required, these will be taken now and scanned while you wait.

Based on the clinical examination, x-ray results and any previous discussions, we’ll be able to develop both short- and long-term treatment plans where appropriate. If required, we’ll draw up a clear, itemised treatment plan for you and organise a personal appointment time for treatment to begin.
